Knyaz Vladimir: Russian cruise ship from 1971 faces disposal process
Russia's Rosmorport is pursuing the sale of the Knyaz Vladimir, a 1971-built cruise ship with 765 passengers capacity that has remained laid up in the Black Sea for years. Initially auctioned in November 2025 at 873.5 million rubles (roughly $11 million), the bidding was cancelled due to lack of offers. In February 2026, Rosmorport reached an agreement with Moscow-based Razvitie Goroda LLC, though the transaction remains incomplete. The vessel currently sits docked at the port of Novorossiysk.
