Damen Shiprepair completes drydock with 2,000 passengers aboard AIDAmar in Rotterdam

Damen Shiprepair completed an unusual drydock project for AIDA Cruises' AIDAmar, carrying out the vessel's annual bottom survey while approximately 2,000 passengers remained on board. The 253-metre ship entered Drydock No.6 on July 5th at the Rotterdam Botlek facility for a 24-hour call. The shipyard organized an exhibition and viewing platform for guests, providing an exceptional opportunity to observe ship repair operations while maintaining strict security protocols.
