Seven Seas Explorer, Splendor and Grandeur will be gaining larger entry-level suites, plus a new category, horizon penthouse suites, and adding distinctive suites.
This will reduce each ship's dapacity to 344 suites, from 373.
"As a result, Regent will offer the largest entry-level suites in the luxury cruise industry, while also improving two important luxury metrics, space ratios and guest-to-crew ratios. Taken together, these actions are about making the products match the positioning, creating clearer differentiation for our guests and improving the financial performance of our luxury portfolio over time," John Chidsey, chairman/CEO, Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, said when he announced the plan during the company's Thursday earnings call.
Accommodation upgrades will begin Seven Seas Splendor's November 2027 dry dock and continue in 2028 with Seven Seas Explorer's April dry dock and Seven Seas Grandeur to follow in October.
The entry-level veranda suites will be comparable to the deluxe veranda suites aboard the upcoming Prestige-class ships. They'll range from 415 square feet to 464 square feet, up from 307 square feet. Each will have a walk-in closet, double vanities and spacious balconies.
The horizon penthouse suites, which will debut on Seven Seas Prestige this year, will also be incorporated into the Explorer-class ships, which were introduced in 2016, 2020 and 2023.
The new suite category will range from 616 square feet to 722 square feet. Horizon penthouses feature oversized balconies, a bedroom, full bath suite and a spacious living area.
In addition, a distinctive suite measuring 821 square feet to 918 square feet will be added to each ship. These have a spacious bedroom with a king-size Elite Slumber bed, a sitting and dining area, 1.5 marble and stone-appointed bathrooms and a large balcony.
Respectively named Explorer suite, Splendor suite and Grandeur suite on each ship, they'll come with high-end amenities such as fresh orchid arrangements, cashmere blankets, in-suite caviar service, a selection of pillow styles and a butler.
