Ecuadorian exports reached USD 23.289 million between January and July 2026, reflecting the evolution and diversification of the country's exportable offerings. Shrimp remains the main product, with sales of USD 5.765.7 million during this period.
Traditional products continue to hold significant weight, while mining consolidated as one of the main non-oil and non-traditional export items, with USD 3.179.5 million. This is complemented by the growth of products such as cocoa, bananas, blueberries, mangoes, passion fruit, and avocados.
Trade openness and access to new markets have created opportunities to expand the destinations for Ecuadorian production. China positioned itself as the main destination for non-oil exports during the first half of 2026, followed by the United States, the European Union, Russia, and other markets.
