Alicante – September 11, 2026. Innovation developed from Alicante achieves new international recognition. Golden Owl has been distinguished as "Best Maritime Start-up 2026" at SMM Hamburg, one of the main global gatherings of the maritime and naval industry.
The Spanish company received this recognition for its ability to apply advanced artificial intelligence, OSINT, data fusion, and anticipatory analysis technologies to the maritime sector, aimed at detecting risks, threats, and opportunities before they can impact organizations.
This award is particularly relevant for Alicante's innovation ecosystem, as Golden Owl is one of the companies promoted by the Port Authority of Alicante in the VI Ports 4.0 Call, under the Commercial Projects modality.
This international recognition highlights the potential of initiatives developed and boosted through innovation programs like Ports 4.0, which are capable of connecting technological and entrepreneurial talent with the real needs of strategic sectors such as maritime-port.
The application of Golden Owl's technology allows for anticipating scenarios that can affect ports, maritime routes, critical assets, and infrastructures, including operational risks, hybrid threats, supply chain disruptions, regulatory changes, competitor movements, or unfair competition practices.
