NYK Christens and Launches Amane Cruise Ship in Japanese Shipyards

NYK held the christening and launching ceremony for the cruise ship Amane at Maehata Shipbuilding Co. shipyards in Sasebo, Japan. The vessel, designed by Masamichi Katayama of Wonderwall, will be delivered in March 2027 and enter service in May 2027 for cruises in Tokyo Bay. It has a length of 48 meters, a beam of 9.5 meters, and 480 gross tons.
