Global Ports Holdings secures 24-year Acapulco cruise port concession

Global Ports Holdings signed a 24-year concession agreement with ASIPONA Acapulco to operate and invest in a 17,199-square-meter cruise area. The company will modernize the terminal while ASIPONA builds a new 350-meter cruise pier scheduled for completion during first quarter 2027. Emilio Vázquez Villanueva was appointed as GM of Acapulco Cruise Port, with the project aimed at strengthening Acapulco's role in Mexican Riviera itineraries.
