DP World announced the opening of its new center in Johor, Malaysia, marking a new milestone in the expansion of its integrated logistics network in Southeast Asia.
The Johor warehouse is the first of two planned for Malaysia, with a second center expected to open in Kuala Lumpur later this year.
Located in the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone, the new 11,514 square meter infrastructure strengthens DP World's ability to offer contractual logistics solutions to clients operating in complex supply chains with tight delivery times. The facilities provide fast, secure, and scalable warehousing and inbound logistics operations, while improving connectivity between Malaysia, Singapore, and major regional trade corridors.
Jeanie Tan, Commercial Director of Logistics for Asia Pacific at DP World, stated that "the opening of our warehouse in Johor represents an important step in strengthening our growing logistics presence in Southeast Asia. As we continue to invest in strategic logistics assets in the region and connect them with our existing network of ports and terminals, we enhance our ability to offer comprehensive supply chain solutions that help our customers transport goods more efficiently, reliably, and resiliently. These facilities will accelerate our growth in Southeast Asia and develop the necessary capacity to support the long-term success of our customers."
Expansion of the region's integrated logistics network
The Johor warehouse is the most recent investment in DP World's strategy to build an integrated contractual logistics network across Southeast Asia, allowing customers to benefit from increased connectivity, operational flexibility, and supply chain resilience.
In addition to the warehouses in Malaysia, DP World will inaugurate centers in the Philippines and Thailand before the end of the year.
These investments build on a series of milestones achieved in the Asia Pacific region, including the inauguration of DP World's first warehouse in Singapore in May 2025, which recently obtained TAPA FSR certification, as well as the opening of new logistics facilities in Hong Kong, Sydney (Australia), and Incheon (South Korea).
Together with DP World's network of 16 ports and terminals in Asia Pacific, its expanding contractual logistics platform is creating a connected supply chain ecosystem that integrates ports, warehousing, and land transportation through its air, sea, less-than-container-load (LCL), and intermodal freight services.
