The Alexandria Port Authority completed cargo handling operations on 41 vessels in 24 hours, with 32 arrivals and 9 departures, totaling 5,189 TEU.

Regarding cargo handling operations at the ports of Alexandria and El-Dekheila, a total of approximately 115.2 thousand tons of various goods and strategic products were handled during 24 hours, comprising 59 thousand tons of outbound cargo and 56.2 thousand tons of inbound cargo.

This reflects the fact that the volume of outbound cargo exceeded the volume of inbound cargo during the reporting period. Additionally, the total number of twenty-foot equivalent units (TEU) handled reached 5,189, comprising 2,283 outbound containers, 2,104 inbound, and 802 in transit.

Furthermore, the gates of the ports of Alexandria and El-Dekheila saw the entry of 4,642 trucks and the exit of 4,318 trucks, totaling 8,960 movements.
