APM Terminals Callao optimizes tanker operations with new strategy

With the aim of raising competitiveness standards in the country's main port, technical coordination has been initiated between port authorities and the concessionaire APM Terminals Callao S.A., operator of the North Multipurpose Terminal, to optimize tanker vessel services.

This strategy seeks to streamline berthing, loading, and unloading operations for specialized vessels, directly reducing waiting times and improving the efficiency of the logistics chain for Peruvian chemical exports.

With these measures, the port sector aims to decongest maritime traffic in the area and strengthen the operational capacity of the National Port System, which is key to the dynamism of the region's foreign trade.
