The Barcelona – Can Tunis freight rail hub will close from 2nd August to 8th August for software system implementation at Castellbisbal terminal, halting all export and import rail services to the Port of Barcelona. Alternative solutions include direct trucking from Barcelona to Bilbao, Zaragoza, and Pamplona, with add-on charges via Tarragona ranging from 200 to 250 EUR, subject to limited capacity allocation.
