Ships adopt improvised anti-drone defenses amid increased attacks in the Black Sea

Vessels transiting the Bosphorus Strait are adopting improvised defenses such as nets, water tanks, and tires to repel Russian and Ukrainian drone attacks in the Black Sea. The method, known as "cope cages," has become common among vessels like the Caruzo and Khrizopraz. Experts warn that these measures have limited effectiveness against larger military drones.
