TS Lines adds 7,092 TEU container ship TS Manila

The shipping company TS Lines (TSL) received a new container ship that was built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding (SWS), part of the Chinese China State Shipbuilding Corporation (CSSC), delivered the container ship TS Manila to the shipping company TS Lines (TSL).

The vessel has a capacity of 7,092 TEU and is the 44th unit corresponding to the Sdari Sealion 7000 design. Likewise, the ship is the eighth and last of this type delivered to TSL, succeeding the TS Kelang, delivered in April 2026, Alphaliner reported.

The TS Manila has a length of 272.00 meters, a beam of 42.80 meters -corresponding to 17 rows- and a deadweight of 80,000 tons with a draft of 14.00 m.

The container ship is equipped with an exhaust gas cleaning system (scrubber) and conventional propulsion by a MAN 7G80ME-C10.5 main engine that gives it a maximum speed of 21 knots. Likewise, the vessel has five alternators that supply power for up to 800 refrigerated containers.

After departing from the SWS shipyards in Shanghai, the new vessel was incorporated into TS Lines' China-Red Sea (RCX) service.
