Maersk LCL product has reviewed the Emissions surcharge (EMS/ESS) for Q4 2026 and the tariff will be effective 01st Oct 2026.
Emissions surcharge will be applied to all bookings with Load port and/or Discharge port country part of EU/EEA.
Please find below levels for LCL product on trade level which will be charged towards Emission Surcharge Q4 2026 and will be applicable 01st Oct 2026 onwards

This is a mandatory surcharge to all spot and contract shipments with only exception being ECO delivery shipments as advised below.
*ECO Delivery Bookings will not be charged with emissions surcharge. Choosing ECO Delivery means we replace fossil fuels with green fuels. This investment reduces green-house-gas emissions of your bookings and decarbonizes your supply chain. Learn more about ECO Delivery.
