Explora Journeys christens LNG-powered Explora III in Barcelona ceremony
Explora Journeys officially christened Explora III in Barcelona on August 1, marking the brand's first LNG-powered ship. Following its delivery in Genoa on July 23, the vessel completed a Mediterranean prelude journey before the naming ceremony. The event featured speeches from MSC Group's Cruise Division Executive Chairman Pierfrancesco Vago, Explora Journeys President Anna Nash, Port of Barcelona President José Alberto Carbonell, and Godmother Cristina Ozores, a marine educator and founder of conservation organization Vellmarí.
