Multiple Emergency Exercise at Port Antofagasta
Port Antofagasta conducted a multiple emergency exercise at its facilities, organized jointly with the Port Authority, Antofagasta International Terminal (ATI), and the Fire Department. The exercise simulated an oil spill at Berth 5, the rescue of a person from a warehouse, and a fire in an electrical substation at the Multi-operator Terminal. The activity evaluated protocols, resources, and response capabilities for port contingencies.
