Regent Reduces Explorer Class Capacity by 10 Percent Through Drydock Refits

Regent will reduce capacity on its Explorer-class ships to 688 passengers through drydocks scheduled between late 2027 and late 2028. The Seven Seas Explorer, Seven Seas Splendor, and Seven Seas Grandeur will feature larger suites replacing smaller staterooms, improving crew-to-guest ratios from 1:1.3 to 1:1.2 and guest-to-space ratios from 1:74 to 1:80. The Splendor debuts enhancements on December 6, 2027, followed by the Explorer on May 22, 2028, and the Grandeur on November 13, 2028.
