SAAM Towage Leads Discharge and Transfer of the China Zorrilla Electric Catamaran in Uruguay
SAAM Towage completed the discharge and transfer of the China Zorrilla, a 130-meter-long 100% electric catamaran that will join the Buquebus fleet. The operation included uncoupling maneuvers in Nueva Palmira with the tugboats Gaucho II and Portobelo, followed by a 60-nautical-mile, 10-hour journey to the Port of Colonia. Javiera Hevia, SAAM's Southern Cone cluster manager, highlighted the required technical precision and coordination.
