Ukraine strikes Russian shadow fleet tanker Avero in Black Sea operation

Ukraine's Security Service reported striking the Liberian-flagged crude oil tanker Avero with a naval drone in the Black Sea on 19 July, marking the fourth shadow fleet tanker hit in ten days. The 274-meter vessel was transporting Russian crude oil in violation of G7 and EU embargoes, exporting primarily to China and India. The SBU also conducted a long-range drone attack on three oil depots in Stavropol Territory, causing fires and explosions to disrupt Russia's fuel supplies and military capabilities.
