Maersk announced a fuel surcharge adjustment for Greece effective 13th July 2026, implementing a 5% truck surcharge due to increased Middle East fuel costs. The carrier will conduct weekly reviews instead of monthly, with updates every Friday. Surcharge codes "EFS" (Export Fuel Surcharge) and "IFS" (Import Fuel Surcharge) will appear on invoices. The measure remains in place until costs stabilize.
