Peru to Promote Entry into Force of FTA with Hong Kong in 2026

The President of the Council of Ministers, Luis Galarreta, announced that the entry into force of the Free Trade Agreement with Hong Kong will be promoted this year. Peru has 24 trade agreements covering 87% of its exports. The government also plans to authorize 240 mining exploration and exploitation projects, with a portfolio that could exceed 33 billion dollars in investment by 2031.
