Cargo in Peruvian Ports Grows 20.1% in April to 5.8 Million Tons
Cargo movement in public-use port terminals in Peru reached 5.8 million metric tons in April 2026, registering a growth of 20.1% compared to the same month of the previous year, as reported by the MTC through the National Port Authority. Rolling cargo led the increase with 42.9%, while containerized goods accounted for 52.5% of the total volume mobilized.
