CIMC Raffles to Build 7,000 CEU PCTC Vessel for SFL Corp
US shipping company SFL Corp has commissioned CIMC Raffles to build a PCTC vessel with a capacity of 7,000 CEU and dual-fuel propulsion, with delivery scheduled for 2028. This marks the fifth contract secured by the Chinese shipyard in 2026. SFL Corp also placed a $1 billion order with New Times Shipbuilding in July 2024 for five 16,800 TEU LNG dual-fuel container ships.
