Maersk implements emergency fuel surcharge on Nordic inland shipments

Maersk announced an emergency fuel and energy surcharge on all inland Store Door shipments across the Nordic region effective August 5th, 2026, due to Middle East fuel supply disruptions. Surcharges vary by country: Denmark 10%, Sweden 6%, Norway 0%, Finland 5%, Lithuania 4%, Latvia 12%, and Estonia 18%. Electric truck and rail solutions remain unaffected. Percentages will be updated weekly based on evolving conditions.
