AMP AND COASTAL COMMUNITIES DRIVE THE DEVELOPMENT OF PUERTO MUTIS
The Panama Maritime Authority (AMP) invested over 15 thousand dollars in the first half of 2026 in the maintenance and strengthening of Puerto Mutis in Veraguas. The institution held a meeting with more than 500 fishermen, boatmen, and tourism operators to listen to their needs and promote sustainable maritime development. In 2026, the port has handled 630 departures from 360 vessels, registering 1,565,690 pounds of fish unloaded.
