Celebrity Compass floated out: First of 20 river cruise vessels by 2031

Celebrity Compass, the first vessel for Celebrity River Cruises, emerged from Rotterdam's Zwijnenburg shipyard and traveled 80 kilometers to TeamCo Shipyard in Heusden for completion. The newbuild is the first of 20 vessels planned by 2031. Celebrity Cruises President Laura Hodges Bethge called the float-out a milestone, highlighting the vessel's innovative hull design, hybrid propulsion system, and advanced technology to reduce noise and vibration.
