Maersk updates intermodal fuel fee for Slovenia effective October 2026

A. P. Moller – Maersk announced temporary fuel price adjustments on Landside Transportation effective from 1st October 2026. For Slovenia, the Intermodal Fuel Fee (EFS/IFS) for truck services will increase by 10%. The adjustment responds to global energy price surges driven by Middle East security developments, with approximately 20% of global fuel passing through the Strait of Hormuz. The applicable fuel fee will be reviewed and potentially adjusted on a bi-weekly basis, replacing the previous monthly review cycle.
