K Line Begins Operations at Kobe Port's KICT Container Terminal

Kawasaki Kisen Kaisha Ltd. (K Line) will commence operations at the PC14-17 container terminals of Kobe Port on September 1, 2026. Following an agreement signed in June 2023 with Kobe-Osaka International Port Corporation and Mitsui OSK Lines, the shipping company will handle almost 40% of the port's foreign trade containers. The operation, under Nitto Total Logistics, will enhance capacity for large container vessels and provide greater flexibility in berthing.
