Hornbeck Offshore Secures Decommissioning Contract in the North Sea

Hornbeck Offshore Services, through its subsidiary Helix Well Ops (UK) Limited, has secured a multi-year decommissioning contract with a North Sea operator. The contract is set to commence in the second quarter of 2027 with a fixed duration of two years and an option for extension. Hornbeck will utilize the Well Enhancer and Seawell vessels for well plugging and and abandonment operations, providing an integrated solution that includes ROV, saturation diving, and engineering services.
