HJSC Delivers 7,900 TEU Agate Containership for ZIM

South Korean shipyard HJSC delivered the 7,900 TEU containership Agate to George Economou's TMS group, the first unit in a series of four sister ships that will be operated by the Israeli shipping company ZIM. The TMS group ordered its vessels at the end of 2024 at an approximate price of 108 million dollars each. The Agate is 272 meters long, 42.8 meters wide, and has a MAN B&W main engine capable of developing 33,000 kW.
