Helgeland ports develop year-round cruise operations in Northern Norway

Cruise Norway's familiarisation trip to Mo i Rana and Sandnessjøen on September 8-9 showcased Helgeland's cruise infrastructure and shore excursion potential. Mo i Rana Port completed dredging to 11 meters in 2025, positioning the region for year-round operations with winter advantages. Sandnessjøen's Horvneset quay hosted Norwegian Star in 2023, while cultural attractions including Torolvstein Viking House and Petter Dass Museum enhance passenger experiences.
