Asuka III Makes First Call at Hondo Port, Japan
The Asuka III made its first call as an Asuka-class cruise ship at Hondo Port, in Amakusa, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan, as part of its Japan Circumnavigation Discovery Cruise 2026. The collaboration between Kumamoto Prefecture, Amakusa City, and Asuka Cruises, spearheaded by Kundo Koyama, the cruise line's ambassador, marked this special event, which included a welcome for passengers by the mascot Kumamon.
