Port de Barcelona Completes €20.8 Million Renovation of ASTA Building
The Port of Barcelona has completed the renovation of the ASTA building with an investment of 20.8 million euros, financed through the General State Administration's Energy Consumption Reduction Plan. In a pioneering move, the air conditioning system will be powered by renewable energy, utilizing the residual cold from the regasification of LNG at the Energy dock, saving 32,000 tons of CO2 annually.
