Porto Itapoá Achieves Gold Seal in GHG Protocol for Fifth Consecutive Year
Porto Itapoá received the Gold Seal from the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program for the fifth consecutive year, an acknowledgment based on the 2025 emissions inventory with independent verification. The terminal reduced its carbon intensity by 11.7% compared to 2024, decreasing from 13.22 to 11.67 tCO2e per TEU handled. CEO Ricardo Arten highlighted that the emissions inventory is a fundamental management tool to guide investments and monitor results year after year.
