Maersk adjusts fuel surcharge rates in Macedonia effective July 6th

Maersk announced an exceptional fuel surcharge adjustment for Macedonia effective 6th July 2026, implementing a 7.5% truck surcharge in response to increased fuel costs stemming from the Middle East situation. The carrier will conduct weekly reviews instead of monthly ones, with updates every Friday, and surcharges will be coded as "EFS" (Export Fuel Surcharge) and "IFS" (Import Fuel Surcharge) on invoices.
