Terminal Cuenca del Plata began an indefinite strike from 3:00 PM on July 1, 2026. The union conditions negotiations on the company paying a monthly net bonus of $50,000 or guaranteeing 25 assured workdays. TCP, 80% owned by Katoen Natie and 20% by the National Port Administration, rejects these demands, considering them incompatible with a responsible negotiation process.
