DSIC Delivers 300,000-Ton VLCC with Energy-Saving Technology

Dalian Shipbuilding Industry (DSIC) delivered a 300,000-ton VLCC oil tanker in Liaoning, China, built jointly with China Shipbuilding Trading Co., Ltd. for a Norwegian shipowner. Measuring 333 meters in length and featuring energy-saving technologies, the vessel is expected to generate annual savings of 35 million yuan in fuel costs and can transport over 2 million barrels of crude oil.
