Peru and South Korea Agree on Cooperation in Transport and Infrastructure

Minister of Transport Rafael Rey Rey met with South Korean Ambassador Choi Jong-uk to strengthen bilateral cooperation in transport and infrastructure. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to the Chinchero International Airport in Cusco, which will serve between 7 and 12 million passengers annually. Korea also expressed interest in contributing to an intelligent transport system in the Lima–Chancay corridor.
